The beautiful and elegant Riad Shemsi has been created from an original ancient house in the heart of the Royal Kasbah. From its terrace one has a wonderful view of the whole of Marrakech including the Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque.

Riad Shemsi is a haven of tranquility; its large courtyard containing a substantial pool surrounded by traditional arabesque arches, antique and vintage tapis, palms and distinguished Marrekchi furnishings.The stunning chambers are all en- suite, revealing traditional coloured tadelakt plasterwork, finely worked mirrors and contemporary art.

Riad Shemsi can organize your excursions in and around Marrakesh and your transfer to and from the airport (15€ one way).

Tarifs are based on 2 pax, breakfast included. Additional person 30€/night.

A short walk south from the Place Djemaa el Fna and the surrounding souks leads through the Mellah (the ancient Jewish quarter with its characteristic "outward looking" houses) to the Royal Kasbah, the fortified area within the Medina with its own distinctive atmosphere and appearance, home to the two Royal Palaces and the famous tombs of the Saadian Dynasty.
